Aims and Scope
Udayagiri Bahubhashik Itihas Sanshodhan Patrika is a double-blinded peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Association for Advancement of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities Education and Research. The main objective is to provide a forum for researchers in the fields History to publish their articles. Our mission is to promote awareness of and compatibility with the dynamics of various study areas and to disseminate relevant research work to support the need for new historical knowledge.
“Udayagiri Bahubhashik Itihas Sanshodhan Patrika” It is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed, refereed, multi-lingual journal that addresses research interest in all areas of historical study, from early times to contemporary history. Its focus is on the Indian subcontinent as well as other parts of the world. We welcome articles that deal with recent advances in the study of history and a discussion of methods in relation to empirical research.
The journal publishes articles in the following categories:
Research articles: Full reports of research projects including background, theoretical frameworks, methodology and data, results and discussion.
Review articles: Articles which provide a comprehensive summary or review on a certain topic and a perspective on the state of related fields. Review articles are usually by invitation from the journal’s editorial team. However, independent submissions are also welcome.
Publication Language
The journal is published in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, and all Indian regional languages (e.g. Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada etc.).
Publication Frequency
Udayagiri Bahubhashik Itihas Sanshodhan Patrika publishes articles on a continuous basis. Articles are published in the current issue as soon as they are peer-reviewed, accepted, copyedited, and proofread, allowing a steady stream of informative quality articles. The journal then archives the articles within 6 issues: February, April, June, August, October and December. In the continuous publication, articles may be submitted at any time. They still undergo the same process of peer review and preparation, but this can begin right away and ends as soon as the article is ready.
